Clocking in as an Artist, Every Day w/ Bobby Drake

This week on the pod, we welcome Bobby Drake (stage name for Larry D. Brown II). Bobby started his career in Milwaukee as a spoken word artist, has been active working in community and political activism, and has been a Television Segment Producer with PBS Black Nouveau which led to an Emmy Award and a National Association for Black Journalists Award. Currently, he is the founder of an ecommerce workshop called Royalties Build Lifestyles, which teaches independent music artists how to build income strategies, and works as part of the Executive Committee at Courtier House. 

In the intro, Mac and David welcome Lindsay back from a couple weeks away from the pod and talk about her visit to Iowa. Then, they think about putting 10,000 into work, art, and more.
