Published on: 5th October, 2021

This week, we welcome on friends from Historic Milwaukee to talk about their recent Doors Open event: Grace Fuhr, Special Events Director and Julia Griffith, Program Director.

David and Mac start off the episode by roasting Lindsay in her absence. Then, Mac updates us on his creative life outside of work - a filming of a sketch piece involving official things like booms and green screens.

Grace and Julia join at 16:00 and we start by celebrating this as Julia’s third appearance on the pod. Food and dance experiences that left a strong imprint on them both (17:30), the return of in-person Doors Open (23:10), offering virtual tours (32:40), Historic Milwaukee’s app (38:40), favorite sites at this year’s Doors Open (41:45), what’s coming up at Historic Milwaukee in 2021 and 2022 (46:50), Julia’s third reign and Grace’s first as Czar of Arts and Culture (54:00).
