We're back from break! The team starts off by reflecting on the time off from the pod and discussing Mayoral candidates' responses on arts and culture.

Joe and Betsy of the Wisconsin Policy Forum join the pod at 15:00 to talk all about the recent release of The Work of Art, a report that summarizes responses from 393 Milwaukee artists and creatives through a survey shared between late July 2021 and late September 2021.

Joe Peterangelo is a senior researcher for the Wisconsin Policy Forum and has been with the organization since 2011. His research focuses on economic and workforce development, transportation, and housing. Before joining the Forum, Joe worked as a program coordinator for United Way of Dane County in Madison, Wisconsin and as a planning assistant for the city of Milwaukee’s Department of City Development. 

Betsy Mueller is a researcher for the Wisconsin Policy Forum. Betsy joined the Wisconsin Policy Forum (previously Public Policy Forum) in 2017. Her work focuses on education as well as social issues Prior to joining the Forum, she completed two years of national service with AmeriCorps, working with Milwaukee high school students and their families to navigate the college admissions process.
